Eddie’s Futbol Clinic Terms and Conditions of Player Registration
In addition to the relevant policies and terms of Football Federation Australia (FFA) governing soccer in Australia, the following Terms and Conditions apply to participants in Eddie’s Futbol Clinic:
Definitions:
- Clinic: refers to Eddie’s Futbol Clinic.
- Child: refers to any participant under the age of 18 attending Eddie’s Futbol Clinic.
- Parent/Guardian: refers to the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the Child who are responsible for the registration and participation of the Child in the Clinic.
- Policies: refer to the guidelines, rules, and regulations set by Eddie’s Futbol Clinic, as published and amended from time to time.
Participation and Acknowledgment of Risk
Parents/Guardians acknowledge that participating in soccer activities, including training, games, and other associated events organized by Eddie’s Futbol Clinic, involves inherent risks. By registering their Child, Parents/Guardians understand and accept these risks on behalf of their Child.
Parents/Guardians agree to waive and release Eddie’s Futbol Clinic, its officials, coaches, referees, staff, volunteers, and agents from all liability for any injury, damage, or loss suffered by their Child or themselves while participating in Clinic activities. This includes, but is not limited to, liability arising from negligence or breach of duty by Eddie’s Futbol Clinic or its representatives.
Compliance with Policies
Parents/Guardians and participants agree to familiarize themselves with and abide by Eddie’s Futbol Clinic Policies, rules, and Code of Conduct, as amended from time to time. Failure to comply may result in the Child’s exclusion from activities or termination of their registration, at the sole discretion of the Clinic’s management.
Media Use
Parents/Guardians grant Eddie’s Futbol Clinic permission to use photographs or videos of their Child for promotional or communication purposes. This includes use on the Clinic’s website, social media platforms, and other similar channels. Parents/Guardians acknowledge that media shared by the Clinic may be further shared beyond the Clinic’s platforms.
If a Parent/Guardian does not consent to this use, they must notify the Clinic in writing at the time of registration.
Volunteer Contributions
Eddie’s Futbol Clinic is a community-based organization reliant on volunteer contributions. Parents/Guardians acknowledge that registration includes a commitment to contributing to the Clinic in volunteer roles where required, such as event assistance or support during training sessions.
Team Allocation and Attendance
Participants will be grouped according to age and skill level, in accordance with Eddie’s Futbol Clinic policies. The allocation of participants to specific groups or teams is at the sole discretion of the Clinic.
Parents/Guardians agree that their Child will make all reasonable efforts to attend training sessions and events to promote team development and the overall experience of all participants.
Refund Policy
Requests for registration fee refunds must be made in writing to the Clinic. Refunds will generally only be considered before the commencement of any Clinic activities. Once training has commenced or equipment has been issued, refunds will be at the absolute discretion of the Clinic’s management, who will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
Participants who withdraw after team or group allocations have been made may not be eligible for a refund, as such withdrawals can disrupt the group’s cohesion and planning.
Responsible Conduct
Eddie’s Futbol Clinic promotes a positive and inclusive environment. Parents/Guardians and participants are expected to uphold the Clinic’s Code of Conduct at all times, including responsible use of social media. Offensive or discriminatory behavior, comments, or posts will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including exclusion from the Clinic.
Acknowledgment of Agreement
By registering a Child for Eddie’s Futbol Clinic, Parents/Guardians confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. They acknowledge their responsibility for ensuring their Child adheres to these terms and the Clinic’s policies.
